English March

I wrote this piece in 2001.

The piece was composed with orchestral sounds in mind, but having no orchestra in my back pocket I am happy with this synthesised rendering produced on my PC.

I have been asked more than once, “Why did you call it English March when you are Scottish?” What a strange question! I called it English March because it is a march and it is English in style. If I wrote a Scottish march it would sound quite different.
